COVERGIRL blastflipstick

Hey Everybody!

Long time no see. Sorry it has been a while. I am currently getting over a case of mono. It is a complete and utter downer. But... I did receive a pick me up from my favorite website (and hopefully your favorite too) BzzAgent.com. I finally got my COVERGIRL® Blast Flipstick™ BzzKit. Now for all of your who don't know or may not remember... I get these wonderful BzzKits for FREE in exchange for my open and honest opinion and spreading the word to my peeps (that's you guys).

Now, first I am going to say, while I like lipstick, I am more of a lip gloss kinda girl. I am constantly having to apply something to keep my lips moist. However, on a special occasion I will bust out some lipstick and rock it out diva style.

With this campaign I received three colors of COVERGIRL® Blast Flipstick™.... VIXEN, MINX, and STUNNER.

First, the VIXEN... The Vixen is my favorite by far. I like the pink and purple tones. It works well with my skin tone with out going over board. Some lipsticks have a tendency to make me look like a 'working girl' or a bit clown-like.

Second, the Minx... The Minx, while I like it, it does nothing for my skin tone and makes me look washed out. But, not like pale washed out... but like I stepped out of a sepia photograph. It is way too close to my natural skin color.

Lastly, the Stunner... I completely dislike the Stunner! The first thing I noticed is that the lipstick was not creamy and smooth like the other two. It was grainy... kinda rough. Second, talk about making me look clown-like! It was an  Bozzo-y, 'hey let me make you a balloon animal' orange-y color. I'm not sure anyone can actually pull that color off. I had two of my friends, both with different skin tones, try it and it looked horrid on them also. Finally, the color stains your lips.

All in all, the COVERGIRL® Blast Flipstick™ has major potential. With 13 mix and match colors, anyone and everyone will find a color that works for them.

Fresh Infusions VoxBox!

Wow… Three posts in one day! CRAZY!

So this past week, I received my first VoxBox from Influenster. I was selected to be part of the Palmolive Fresh Infusions product test. I received three 16 ounce bottles of Palmolive Fresh Infusions in Lime Basil, Lemon Thyme, and Ginger White Tea.

I REALLY LOVE the smell of the Lime Basil dish soap. It reminds me of a margarita. The Lemon Thyme is alright, but not the best. And, the Ginger White Tea I don’t care for too much. I don’t like the smell of ginger.

So, I was supposed to keep two bottles for myself and give one to a friend. Plush I received coupons to give to friends. My mom loves the Ginger White Tea.

Burt's Bees Intense Hydration BzzKit

Hello Again.

So, I have more information about another BzzKit I received from BzzAgent. Recently I received the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Campaign that included Night Cream, Cream Cleanser, and Treatment Mask.

While, I love the quality of the product, I suggest that you find out if you are allergic to bees before trying the product. The first time I used it, my skin was fine. It felt smooth and soft, but the more I used it, my skin started getting irritated and it turned out that I am allergic to bees and be products.

Still, I do suggest the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration for anyone who is not allergic to anything in the product.  You can find this product at Walmart or Target.

I will say that I am not the biggest fan of the Cotton & Italian Mandarin. I have never been a fan of the cotton fragrance, it tends to bother my allergies. I do love all of the others though The pineapple smells delicious. The Lavender and Juniper Berry has a nice and relaxing quality to it. Also, a BIG plus about Lavender.... It detours  spiders!!! Apple and Spice are a traditional scent and works well in the fall around thanks giving time.

UNREAL Candy

Hello my people!

So, today I got my coupons for my UNREAL Candy Bzz Campaign. It is candy that has been unjunked. It has NO corn syrup, no Partially Hydrogenated Oil,  NO artificial ingredients,  NO GMOs,  NO Preservatives, and is low on the Glycemic Index.

The first candy I tried was the UNREAL77 Peanut Butter cups. Now, to be honest, peanut butter cups have never really been my thing. They are always too sweet and it gets kinda sickening, and I would always end up giving the second one away. Needless to say that I was wary about trying the UNREAL PB cups. I took that first bite and I was amazed. The peanut butter, chocolate, and the sweetness were all in perfect balance of each other. I will actually eat these again.

In comparison to Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in Nutritional Facts.... Well, Here are the facts:

This is my first blog post. As my friends know, I LOVE free things! Love Love Love them. Another thing well known about me is that I love to share my opinion about everything!

I am a member of a few nifty websites that allow me to try new things for free and review them. Perfect job for me, right? So, what I will be doing from time to time is letting you know about all of the free stuff that I get to try and add links and websites so that you, my dear, dear friends, can try them too.

First, I am going to give you a few of these nifty websites so that you can sign up and get some goodies for yourself.

1) BzzAgent - BzzAgent is awesome. You take surveys so they know what kind of shopper you are and then they link you up with cool new products. I've gotten things from insoles to candy as a BzzAgent. I love it and you will too. Another awesome thing about this sight is that you can get MyPoints (www.mypoints.com) where you are able to trade in your points for gift cards from places like Amazon, Restaurants.com.

2) Smiley - Smilie is like BzzAgent, however they seem to do less promotions. But when they do, they are usually biggies. You just complete the missions and you will get some pretty nifty stuff.

3) FreeFlys - FreeFlys lists product sample opportunities. They have samples for everybody. I've gotten Sharpies, SmashBox Photo Finish primer, Tully Coffee K-Cups, and so much more.
